In conventional product development, a considerable amount of time, effort, and resources is invested in the preliminary assessment of an idea’s potential before proceeding to prototyping. This rigorous evaluation is necessary due to the costs associated with wasted time that comes from pursuing the wrong idea.
Ten years ago, we invested in 3D printers, which significantly shortened the back-and-forth process with external partners in relation to prototyping. With the introduction of AI as a visualization tool, we can run even more simulations and further qualify our ideas before even considering moving onto 3D printing.
In this way, AI has exponentially increased the number of visual concepts that can be assessed within a given timeframe.
Besides being a useful tool to qualify ideas, AI also allows for the exploration of ideas that were once deemed too risky or radical.

In the context of product development, the power of the first impression refers to the immediate judgment made upon initial exposure to a subject. We, as creators, tend to lose the ability to critically evaluate our creations due to extensive involvement and the layering of ideas over time. This inability can lead to an obscured vision of the product’s true potential or lack thereof. One could say that we fall in love with our idea and are unwilling to let go, and this phenomenon is proportional to the time, blood, sweat, and tears poured into the project.
However, the experience of partnering with AI is different, since it’s possible to visualize the results instantaneously. This stands in stark contrast to the gradual layering of ideas week after week, month after month. Consequently, the immediacy and freshness serve as powerful tools for unbiased evaluation and decision-making.

We believe that AI will help us visualize concepts that would otherwise be deemed too outlandish and resource-intensive to move forward with, in the era before AI.
In the brainstorming phase, you can’t see beyond the horizon, as there are too many puzzles still up in the air. We hope that AI will help us dive into this pool of untapped ideas, since visualizing concepts has become practically free.
We believe that this paradigm shift has significant implications for innovation and progress. Ideas previously dismissed due to perceived infeasibility may, upon testing, prove to be the extraordinary concepts and new classics.
