In Denmark, there is a tradition for a minimalistic yet tactile design language. We seek to honor that tradition but also add something new. We seek to create simple Danish design furniture that solves our very basic needs. When we begin the process of creating a new design, we always break down the task to the very fundamentals in order to discover if there is a better solution to a common known problem. As we see it, it all comes down to the small differences, the differences that can be hard to notice since most of us consider them predetermined. It is these differences that are inherited through countless generations of design and at some point is not questioned. It is these small differences that we seek to peel off in order to deliver design in its purest form.
