The subtle Elements candle holder, designed by Danish Nordic Tales, communicates materials, tactility and surfaces. Elements is part of an ever growing collection that reflects past, present and future design periods. As a result, you can see Elements both as a trend reference and as a small container materializing a certain period.
Elements is made from either brass or steel – both treated in two different ways to demonstrate the many possibilities a single material contains. One half of the candle holder is sandblasted, the other half is polished. This creates an alluring contrast between dull and glossy, highlighting the importance of the material as the right surface is just as essential for the design as the right form.
Elements is a journey in materials, it is an ever expanding collection that reflects design periods in past, present and future.
One could say that an Element product is a trend reference point in time, one could say that it is a small trend memory container, that materialises a design period.
